Last Updated: 02.06.2024Mama Istanbul strives to provide high-quality stroller rentals for a smooth and convenient experience for our customers. These terms and conditions outline the reservation agreement between Mama Istanbul and the customer.Reservation & ConfirmationQuotation Validity: Any quotations offered are valid for 24 hours from the date and time of issuance. The quotation does not constitute an offer and is subject to availability and confirmation. Mama Istanbul reserves the right to deny or not accept an order, even after receipt of a completed order, based on availability or other factors.Reservation Order: Reservations can only be confirmed upon receipt of a completed order which includes, but is not limited to:
1. Customer information (name, contact details)
2. Selected equipment and reservation dates
3. Confirmed delivery and return details (address, timeframe)
4. Receipt of full paymentBooking Confirmation Notification: Reservations are confirmed via our official communication channels only.


Rental Period & FeesRental Period: The rental period begins on the specified start date and ends on the agreed return date. Both the pick-up and return days count as full rental days each.Late Returns: A late fee of €2 per hour may be applied for returns exceeding the agreed-upon time, capped at €10. Customers are encouraged to contact Mama Istanbul promptly in case of unforeseen delays.Delivery and Return: Delivery and return can be arranged between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM, which are considered as our standard delivery hours. Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to traffic or unforeseen circumstances. Beyond 45 minutes delay, Mama Istanbul will communicate with the customer to make necessary arrangements.Outside Hours Delivery or Return: Delivery or return outside of our standard delivery hours may be arranged with a fee starting from €2 onwards, depending on location, time, address, and traffic conditions.Delivery Pricing: Delivery fees vary depending on location and are listed below. Prices are one-way only; delivery and return fees are charged separately.

* €9.99 Kadıköy, Üsküdar, Fatih, Beyoğlu, Kartal, Maltepe, Ataşehir, Ümraniye;
* €12.50: Beşiktaş, Kağıthane, Şişli;
* €15.00: Istanbul Airport;
* €25.00: Sapanca;
* €35.00 Bursa;
* Other locations: Please contact Mama Istanbul for a quote.Online Payment: Payment can only be made up to 1 week in advance via our online payment system. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made after online payment.Cancellation Requests: Cancellation requests must be submitted through our official communication channels.Refund Policy: There will be no refund for payments made online through our payment system. In exceptional circumstances, such as documented emergencies or unforeseen events, Mama Istanbul may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Any such requests must be submitted in writing and will be subject to review and approval by Mama Istanbul.Deposit: A security deposit of €20 in cash only may be required prior to each rental. The deposit will be fully refunded upon the return of the equipment in its original condition, with no damages or loss incurred during the rental period. All prices and fees stated in these terms are inclusive of 20% VAT, unless specified otherwise.Payment Currency: All prices and fees are listed in Euros (EUR). Payment can be made in EUR, TRY, and USD based on the prevailing rates published by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT).


Equipment Use & CareCare and Use: Customers agree to use the rented equipment responsibly and in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Customers are required to inspect the equipment upon delivery and report any pre-existing damages to Mama Istanbul. Any damages must be reported to Mama Istanbul prior to or during return. The equipment is intended for use by babies and young children only. Alternative use requires explicit permission from Mama Istanbul.Disclaimer of Inherent Risks: While Mama Istanbul strive to maintain its equipment in good condition, using any equipment, especially with children, involves inherent risks. Customers acknowledge their responsibility for the safety and well-being of children using the rented equipment.


Damage & LossDamage Assessment: Mama Istanbul reserves the right to assess and evaluate damages to rented equipment. The cost for repairs or replacements for damages beyond "Fair Wear and Tear" will be deducted from the deposit if applicable, or customers will be charged extra charges and penalties. The cost will be based on a fair assessment. Customers will be provided with a detailed breakdown of the damage assessment and associated charges.Fair Wear and Tear: This includes minor scratches on the frame, light scuffing on the wheels, and normal signs of use that do not affect the functionality or safety of the equipment. These are typically considered acceptable and should not result in penalties to the customer.Damage Requiring Penalties: The following are examples of damages beyond Fair Wear and Tear that may result in deductions from the deposit, where applicable, and/or financial penalties to the customer:1. Dents: Significant dents or deformations in the frame that affect its structural integrity or appearance.
2. Holes or Tears: Any punctures, tears, or significant damage to the fabric or material of the stroller.
3. Missing Parts: Any essential components or accessories missing from the equipment, such as harnesses, canopies, or wheels.
4. Burn Marks: Any burn marks or heat damage that compromise the safety or appearance of the equipment.
5. Significant Damage: Any damage that renders the equipment unsafe for use or significantly impacts its functionality.Dispute Resolution: If a customer disagrees with the damage assessment, they can contact Mama Istanbul to discuss the issue. We strive for fair and transparent resolutions.

We aim to respond to inquiries during business hours (Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) within 24 hours.

Liability & IndemnificationLiability: Mama Istanbul strives to provide safe and reliable equipment. However, we cannot guarantee the absence of all risks associated with the use of the equipment. By reserving equipment, customers acknowledge and accept that Mama Istanbul shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from the use of the equipment, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct on our part.Indemnification: The customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold Mama Istanbul harmless from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from the customer's use of the equipment.Modification and Acceptance: Mama Istanbul reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions as necessary, without notice provided to the customer. When the customer uses our services, they hereby represent and warrant that they acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by all the terms and conditions outlined herein. This includes but is not limited to the rental period, cancellation policy, care and use of the equipment, liability disclaimer, and any additional provisions stated. The customer also acknowledges that any breach of these terms and conditions may result in extra charges, penalties, and/or the non-return or deduction of the deposit.Severability: If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. In case of multiple versions of the Terms and Conditions, the version available on the website shall prevail.
